This release is unexpected so to speak because there were many people saying that the game wouldn’t reach us but still it has.
Game for pilots only.
The new X-Plane is fantastic.
It looks great and it feels great. When you play it, you want to fly non-stop. Just like other games of such type X-Plane 11 has a major problem it has no decent tutorials. So you need to be really experienced at flights or at the games of this kind to fully enjoy them.

X-Plane 11 on Mac
In fact this game is released for Mac as well but there’s a major problem which many users face. In fact this part is compatible with certain versions only. For example there’s no support of OS X 10.6. It means that you will need to have the latest version.
There a lot of videos showing that the game has become more powerful than before. Let’s watch them.
There’re three new planes which will appear in this part of the game. These are:
- Boeing 737-800
- McDonnell Douglas MD-80
- Sikorsky S-76
What’s more the default models have been also upgraded. They have better quality and usability now.
X-Plane 11 vs FSX and VR Support
Now that new X-Plane is here it can’t avoid comparison with Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Some of the players find that graphics of MSF is bit lower than new X-Plane offers. In addition many gamers say that usability of X-Plane 11 is also better. So if you want a detailed comparison of these games watch this video.
The previous 10th version of this simulator supports Oculus Rift so it’s logical to think that X-Plane 11 for Oculus Rift is also possible. Developers have confirmed that they do consider such a release but they also say that it isn’t of paramount importance for them. So they say that this version will come sometimes in the future.
