Terraria: Otherworld Release Date
Despite the fact that many gamers can’t call Otherworld a sequel the developers still insist. Thus the full new release is promised to be in late 2016, however it won’t happen. When the game actually be released is unknown.
It is promised to be released in all platform, including current generation consoles, such as PS4 and Xbox One. Despite this, the actual development stage for this versions is unknown.

According to the information on the official website the action is set in the same universe but in a different dimension. The main task of the player is going to be a fight against a mysterious evil which has come to the world. The player is supposed to defeat the evil forces and return the lost values of the universe.

The game is going to give players a lot of new items, furniture, blocks and enemies. Now you can find Dirt and Snow in the game. New weather is also present, so you can work with Lightning for example. What’s more, the defensive abilities are promised to be improved so that you can modify and customize the turrets. The game has become obviously wider in terms of the world and items to use.
The sequel is going to save the existing characters but some new NPCs are added which are Mechanic and Doctor. You can also find new enemies such as Crimother Boss, Triffid and Scavenger Corruption ones.
The new game is still good old 2D sandbox with elements of RPG and Strategy now. In the new version you can enjoy the added grappling hooks as well as a lot of new items, enemies and allies. The new NPCs are clever now which makes the game more interesting and more difficult. The game is still centered on building up and defensing yourself with a number of improvements now. And you still have the opportunity to place some of NPCs inside of your construction after you have defeated another enemy.
Still 2D Terraria gives you wider range of actions and absolutely opened world. Even though there’re complaints about this part being a mini game, the final release is supposed to stop them.
