Rocket League is a physics based vehicle soccer video game by Psyonix, released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 on July 7, 2015, with ports for Linux and OS X also being developed.
Rocket League’s gameplay is similar to the previous games in the series. Players take control of a rocket-fueled car and use it to hit a bigger ball (much bigger than cars) towards the other team’s goal area to score points, similar to a soccer game.
The gameplay concept is quite simple, you must use cars to perform a goal. You can hit the ball by going airborne, you have limited amount of power-ups to speed-up your car, and there’s also a handbrake that allows sharp turns.

However commands are a bit complex but rules are infinite. It’s not just an issue of figuring out the right way to hit the ball with your car, but making sure how to move in a proper angle to hit the ball right, by balancing the momentum of the car at the same time to verify you’re in the right place to assist the team.
Rocket League is a physics based vehicle soccer game in which you must learn ways to get hold of ball, while aiming in the correct angle with the best possible momentum to perform a goal or to hit the ball away from your team’s goal. What appears like an exciting, energetic soccer game, swiftly turns into a realm of throttle, reversals, and angles, a domain where every move should be carefully planned.
It’s the blend of precision and chaos which makes Rocket League a fun game. Many rounds include perfectly balanced teams with powerful offense and defense players combined who only jump into the air when they have to hit the ball. Some other rounds transform into a fight, with the ball and vehicles flying here and there, without any concern for precision.
Rocket League features two types of bets, you can either wager on your skills, or some other team’s inability.
The key factor to master the Rocket League is to understand that despite the fact that the game features cars, this is basically a soccer game. If you are familiar with the basics of real-world soccer, you have a chance to quickly learn and master the basics of Rocket League, since they’re generally the same.
Some of the basic tips include: practicing offline or with friends, doing all the training modes, learning how to powerslide, working as a team, using different camera angles, avoiding the walls, etc.
