Rock Band 4 is an upcoming music video game being developed by Harmonix for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Rock Band 4 is the fourth main installment in the Rock Band music video game franchise.
Rock Band 4 will be released on October 6, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Rock Band 4 release date: October 6, 2015
The core gameplay of Rock Band 4 across bass, guitar, drums and vocals will mostly be the same, however the developers are looking to add some new features to the game as well.
Drum fills, that were used to trigger the score-doubling Overdrive feature, will abandon the freestyle drumming of previous games in favor of introducing one of many preset fills for variation. The library of presets will be made to fit every song’s difficulty and genre, ensuring that they won’t feel out of place.
Vocal harmonies for up to three individuals, a feature initially introduced in The Beatles Rock Band and continued into Rock Band 3, will be included into each song in the game’s library. Another scoring mechanic based around vocal improvising will also be introduced, rewarding artists with bonus points for freeform singing as long as they stay in tune.
Guitar Hero Live release date and preview
Guitar solos are not the same old in Rock Band 4, not like completely open-ended as they used to be. The fun of hitting random buttons and playing wild is gone, swapped by a system that rewards players for performing their solo in a specific technique. At the same time, it won’t sabotage creativity, and playing a Rock Band 4 solo will feel really good as a result.
There is also an indication at the campaign mode for Rock Band 4 being more the same as a role-playing game than previous versions, with an objective of making players feel more astonished in the realm of rock stars.
According to Harmonix Music Systems, Rock Band 4’s track list will incorporate a lot of 20th century classics, for example, Van Morrison’s “Chestnut Eyed Girl” and The Cure’s “Friday I’m in Love”. Harmonix confirmed that the studio is working on the interface and that we can anticipate the Rock Band 4 to look significantly more different.
Harmonix revealed a gameplay trailer of “Lobbies of Valhalla”, “The Feast and the Famine,” and “Friday I’m in Love” a while back. The new Rock Band 4 Trailer shows off game’s improved user interface, it’s different from the version that Harmonix revealed at E3. Harmonix also revealed a brief Rock Bank 4 Demo on the solo feature in which the ability for players to improvise guitar solos was demonstrated that is one of the cool new features of the game.
