During the EGX 2015 Ubisoft confirmed that network tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege will not have a single campaign.
The art director of the game, Scott Mitchell explained that in the Rainbow Six: Siege you can play on some maps alone against bots, but it is a sort of training ground to prepare for multiplayer battles. Traditional storyline campaign have decided not to add to the game.
Similarly Electronic Arts acts with Star Wars: Battlefront – it also will not have the story campaign, because it supposedly no one needs, although single player mode will remain. Players of upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 will also get only multiplayer.
But there is good news for Rainbow Six: Siege beta testers: Ubisoft extended test until October 1.
