Mafia 3 is an upcoming third-person open world action adventure video game published by 2K Games and developed by Hangar 13 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is the third installment in the Mafia franchise, and the first Mafia game by Hangar 13.
Mafia 3 is will be released somewhere in 2016. Exact release date has not been announced yet.

The game story is about Lincoln Clay, a recently returned Vietnam vet and a nomad, who returns to the city to find a feeling of familial bond. He finds it in the Black Mob, but his newly-discovered family is soon killed by the Italian mafia. After recovering from the attack, Clay plans revenge.
The game takes place in New Orleans, filled with inspired cars, music and fashion, and it is a haven for organized crime. The Italian mob controls illegal gambling, prostitution, drugs, and corrupt police.
Mafia 3 features the open world design which allows players to openly explore the game’s world. Players can complete objectives using a variety of different methods. In addition to the amazing graphics, there are many new details about Mafia 3 that gamers will find interesting. Player choices in Mafia 3 will affect the storyline, as well as the people and city around them.
The core gameplay focuses on gunplay. Players can use the weapons provided in the game, like revolvers and shotguns, to take out the enemies. Players can also use stealth tactics through the entire mission without being seen by enemies. Having the choice to do things quietly will help give each player unique experience in the game, instead of expecting everybody to shoot through group of enemies.
A month ago, 2K Games released a teaser image for the Mafia 3 promising to release an announcement trailer. The teaser image features four figures standing near a swamp. There’s a woman among the four figures standing, and her hairstyle and 4 vehicles that flank them suggest that the game is set in the 70s or mid-80s.

Mafia 3 announcement CG trailer shows off the vengeful Clay, who talks about the importance of family. No gameplay is displayed, but an unknown man, who might be an enemy to Clay, gets a hefty beating.
In Mafia 3 Gameplay Trailer, we see an underground jazz bar, which is a cover for a drug den where Clay plans about taking over the city and its mobs. The trailer features a look at the new face of the game Lincoln Clay, and also the new features, for example, melee combat, the ability to dive out of vehicles and use them as bombs and some shooting mechanics. The trailer also shows off fast car chases and chaotic gun fights.
