Final Fantasy VII released years ago was well-accepted by critics. Developers have decided to make all the fans happy by promising remade version of the seventh part.
News about Final Fantasy 7 Remake started in 2008 and it was the reason for many speculations. However, developers didn’t give any comments at those times. When 2014 came the interest rose again. It was due to Final Fantasy 7 Remake leaks from inner source. Many fans were excited giving ideas on what to expect. Nevertheless, it was 2015 only when Final Fantasy 7 Remake got confirmed. Square Enix has shed some light to Final Fantasy 7 Remake release during Electronic Entertainment Expo. They promised to retain the original atmosphere and introduce new technologies. So, Final Fantasy 7 Remake release date hasn’t been announced yet.
Can we expect Final Fantasy 7 Remake PC release date? Hardly. Square Enix kind of neglects PC market and it’s unlikely that they will change their mind in this case. In addition, remake of this game involves a lot of efforts and developers won’t get enough in return, if they aim at PC users. If you still hope to play this remake on PC, the only thing you can do is to cross your fingers and make a wish.
Things are much better in case with Xbox One though. It’s almost inevitable that this release will come. Since FF VII isn’t made exclusively for Sony it’s doomed to make Xbox gamers happy as well. Xbox One is one of the primary consoles today and it would unreasonable of Square Enix to miss this niche. It’s almost certain that Final Fantasy 7 Remake for Xbox One will arrive but not in 2016.
The thing which made all the fans of the series so excited is Final Fantasy 7 Remake new 2016 trailer.
Square Enix plan to release a set of stories which will show you all the events of the original FF 7. Cloud Strife is the protoganist once again. He tries to save Earth from bad corporation. A complete remake and fundamental changes are going to be introduced in gameplay which is risky enough. Square Enix is going to introduce a battle system which reminds of Devil May Cry so you can forget about turn-based game. The game will be more dynamic. There will be a map to guide you through the world. Will it be an open world? Still a question.
It is said that the game will feature the whole original cast. However, Square Enix has shown two characters only. Cloud Strife, the protagonist. He’s the member of terrorist group that wants to save the world from oppressive government. His partner is Barret Wallace, the leader of AVALANCE group. Since he has lost a hand he has replaced it with a gun.
Remade FF VII will be revoiced. Developers haven’t chosen the actors yet. There’s an opinion that they will use voices from Advent Children. If so, we can expect Sakurai Takahiro as Cloud Strife.
Kobayashi Masahiro is expected as Barret Wallace.
