One of the most epic games about modern war is going to come back. If you have forgotten how to shoot, how to assault and how to snipe, Captain Price is going to teach you another lesson. Call Of Duty 4 Remastered is already here.
The first when you could’ve heard about rebirth of Call Of Duty 4 Remastered was May 2nd, 2016. It hasn’t taken much time for developers to improve this classical shooter. The new version of Modern Warfare 4 is already on the market and you can go and buy it. The release came in the mid-autumn 2016.
Xbox owners were one of the first gamers to try this version since Call of Duty Modern Warfare was released on November 4th, 2016. Other releases came a little bit later. The game was released for Xbox One while 360 users can’t try this franchise anymore. Raven Software was still responsible for new version of this shooter and they have done a great job! Remastered version looks awesome with realistic graphics and tons of flashy effects.
Modern Warfare was a masterpiece back in 2007. When everyone was sick and tired of WWII theme, the game was just like a breath of fresh air. It was fascinating in every aspect. No wonder that devs decided to make a remake of exactly that installment – Call of Duty series has a long history now, a bit controversial – it’s time to remember the best game in series. The remake does not simply add hi-res textures and remade 3D models – it also adds some new details in most of the levels.
What amaze us, the game become almost ten times ‘heavier’ – now it requires 40 GB of free space! That’s odd for a remake. The second thing we don’t understand – why it is available for Infinte Warfare buyers only? That’s ridiculous, taking into account the fact IW is not as good as 2007 game remake.
There were rumors that this release wouldn’t come for PS platform. Fortunately, it’s not true. Call Of Duty 4 Remastered has come to PS4 while previous generation of PS can’t try it either. PS release was on October 5th, 2016. PS version is absolutely identical to Xbox and PC variants.
The game has updated its graphics and physics while gameplay itself has stayed relatively untouched. You still play hardcore shooter from first person perspective. You can choose between wide variety of weapons which include pistols, rifles, knives and other tools. Some of the missions include unique weapons along with unique technics. The game is divided into different storylines where you act as different soldiers. The array of missions is wide enough. Some of them are full of action where you have shoot and run while others require your silent skills. Some of the missions are unexpected and offer you to try using a helicopter, for example. The game involves different weather conditions. They basically don’t influence gameplay but they create an atmosphere which is a matter of praise.
For those of you who already want to see upgraded graphics of classical Call Of Duty 4 Remastered there’re trailers by developers. Enjoy it!
