In Anno 2205 will allow players to join humanity’s future, with the assurance of developing a better tomorrow into the space. Players will have to build rich metropolises on Earth that are fit for transmitting missions to the moon as they race to set up colonies on the moon.
The new rendering Engine for the game will allow players to build cities on islands five times bigger than previous Anno games in the series. Graphics are also improved to provide a high level detail in the game, for example, a futuristic city with flying cars, churning factories, over a million citizens, and grinding mines. The game also features a new session mode that allows players to control some sessions on Earth as well as on the Moon at the same time, and connect various regions via different sessions.
Just like previous Anno games in the series, Anno 2205 lets you build cities by playing in a classic gameplay loop, you build new structures to build a population, and the population has issues and needs. In order to promote society, you have to fulfil those needs and increase the level of your population, which will result in more needs you must satisfy.
Producing the suitable goods indicates either gathering the raw resources and manufacturing the best possible supplies, or building different trade routes and importing the raw material as well as manufactured items from elsewhere. A city needs new houses as well as other constructs, for example, robot production facilities, water distillation facilities, sunflower fields, etc.
The moon does not have all the resources you require, however you still set up colonies there. Helium-3 however, is used to run fusion generators, a necessary resource to all the cities in Anno 2205. Moon residents have some particular needs, for example, shields for the protection from cosmic rays, and harvesters to collect Helium-3.
