Guitar Hero Live preview
Guitar Hero Live allows gamers to perform in a concert before a live group and experience what it’s like to be a real rock star. While the mechanics of the new game are basically the same as the previous games in which a player plays a guitar joystick at the same time hitting the six buttons on its fret-board which links to the note displayed on the on-screen activity, Guitar Hero Live features performing on a stage with a virtual audience that reacts and interacts with the player.
If a gamer plays well, the audience will admire you and will get wild. But if you play poorly, then the audience will start to get annoyed and irritated and will show disappointment. Some individuals from the crowd will even try to throw drinks at you.
One more upcoming game for Wii U: Star Fox Zero
The campaign mode will see the player experience a first person’s view as the guitarist for different bands, including the American group Rock the Block and the British group Sound Dial, with different characters and venues for each one.
Guitar Hero Live Gameplay also introduces a new level-up system in which players will level-up as they play, earning in-game currency and unlocking new content. Some of the unlockable content includes “Hero Powers” which are like “Star Power” from previous Guitar Hero games.
Vocals will be available in the gameplay, with one friend using a microphone to sing while another one plays guitar, however it is not confirmed whether this option will be available in single player mode.
Guitar Hero Live will include plenty of new songs. Some initially revealed Guitar Hero Live Tracks include:
• “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars
• “American Idiot” by Green Day
• “Lust for Life” by Iggy Pop
• “Freak on a Leash” by Korn
• “Thunder Kiss ’65” by White Zombie
• “Bulls on Parade” by Rage Against the Machine
• “Breaking the Law” by Judas Priest
• “I Gotsta Get Paid” by ZZ Top
• “Sounds like Balloons” by Biffy Clyro
According to Activision, Guitar Hero Live Song List will include more than 100 songs at launch.
